I'm Marissa, and this is my story.

I developed a strong passion for nutrition and serving others early in life. After 1 year in undergrad studying dietetics & food science at the University of Florida, I decided to build knowledge on fitness also. I quickly fell in love with weight training & the way it made me feel, so I quickly became NASM certified in personal training. With that under my belt, I started taking 1-on-1 clients (online & in-person) which I LOVE. But the reality is, I don’t have the bandwidth to take the amount of clients I’d prefer. That is why I spent months building the So Fit Society App. This gives me the ability to work with hundreds (maybe even thousands) more incredible people just like you. I wouldn’t want to do anything else with my time. I’m dedicated to making your experience here as educational & fun as possible while helping you achieve your goals.
